Introduction of the Online Dispute Resolution Portal (ODR Portal) in the Indian Securities Market
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued a circular to streamline the existing dispute resolution mechanism in the Indian securities market. This initiative expands the scope of the current system by establishing a common Online Dispute Resolution Portal (ODR Portal), which utilizes online conciliation and arbitration to resolve disputes arising in the Indian securities market.
